Multi-Language Content with Contenode

A practical guide to setting up bilingual and multilingual content using Contenode localizable fields and locale resolution.

Contenode has first-class support for multi-language content. Here's how to set it up.

Add locales to your project

Go to Project Settings → Locales and add the languages you want to support. Set one as the default locale.

Mark fields as localizable

When defining or editing a collection, toggle "Localizable" on any field that should have per-language values. Non-localizable fields (like prices or URLs) stay as scalar values.

Request content in a specific locale

Append ?locale=zh to any public API request. Contenode returns flat, locale-resolved values — no nested objects for your frontend to unwrap.
